Value added tax will rise from 24 percent to 25.5 percent on September 1, 2024
Dear customer,
In the plenary session on June 28, the Finnish Parliament approved the amendments to the Value Added Tax Act in accordance with the government proposal (HE 61/2024).
With the changes in the law, the general value added tax rate will rise from 24 percent to 25.5 percent.
The general value added tax of 24 percent on products and services sold in Finland will rise to 25.5 percent on September 1, 2024.
The increased value added tax is updated to the prices of our entire service selection.
The new VAT rate is basically determined by the time of delivery of the product or service.
For purchases invoiced in advance, we apply a 24% VAT rate to those invoices whose due date is 31 August 2024 at the latest.
We will introduce the new VAT rate on September 1, 2024, so the change does not require any action from our customers.
